Kian Wee's grievance

This is not a typical case where an external medical certificate was simply revoked by the SAF medical officer; instead, the external medical certificate was first accepted before it was revoked hours later by the same medical officer who did not follow proper procedures.

In the aftermath of my injury, the medical officer and the commanding officer pointed fingers at each other, and eventually the MINDEF Compensation Board declined to make a ruling on this matter.

If the SAF medical officer really had the medical opinion that I was medically fit for ICT, he would have not accepted the external medical certificate in the first place.
